Producer, Songwriter – “Videogames,” “Payphone,” "Ass Back Home," "Stereo Hearts"

Dan Omelio aka ROBOPOP is a multiplatinum songwriter/producer. Dan's first #1 was, "Stereo Hearts," performed by Gym Class Heroes featuring Adam Levine. The song, which he co-produced with Benny Blanco and co-wrote with Ammar Malik, would be the first in a string of hits for the trio. "Stereo Hearts" reached #1 on Billboard's Pop Radio chart and went on to sell over 4 million copies in the US.  ROBOPOP's next production was Lana Del Rey's breakout worldwide hit, "Video Games."  The single charted Top 5 in over 10 countries and Del Rey's album Born To Die reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 200.  On "Video Games," ROBOPOP gained critical acclaim for his production and ability to cross genres.  Dan, Benny and Ammar picked up where they left off with "Stereo Hearts" and delivered Gym Class's follow-up hit "Ass Back Home" feat. Neon Hitch.  The song reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum. Within months of the success of "Ass Back Home," the team would see their biggest record to date, Maroon 5's "Payphone," co-written with Adam Levine, co-produced by Shellback and featuring rapper Wiz Khalifa.  "Payphone" sold close to 500k copies in its first week—the highest selling song for a band in its debut week ever—and has sold over 9 million copies worldwide. Currently, ROBOPOP is working with a wide range of artists, including Maroon 5, Gavin Degraw, and James Blunt.
