GM/VP, Creative - Cornman Music

Nate Lowery grew up in Florence, AL watching the songwriting business firsthand as his father, songwriter Donny Lowery, scored big with songs like “Old Flames” (Alabama) and “Why Does It Have To Be Wrong or Right” (Restless Heart). After moving to Nashville he began his career at Windswept Publishing, in the time honored tradition of working in the Tape Copy Room. From there he was hired by Chris Oglesby to help build his new company, Oglesby Writer Management, which was part of 19 Entertainment, producers of American Idol. His next move was to the newly formed Cornman Music, owned by hit songwriter Brett James who has penned 13 #1s including songs like "The Truth" by Jason Aldean, "Out Last Night" and "When The Sun Goes Down" by Kenny Chesney, Grammy award-winning "Jesus Take The Wheel” by Carrie Underwood and "Mr. Know It All" by Kelly Clarkson. Cornman Music recently celebrated 2 #1s on their writer/artist Kip Moore. Nate is the GM/VP of Creative for Cornman Music and has been working with Brett for the last 6 years assisting in A&R for the acts Brett produces (currently MCA recording artist Kip Moore). His writers are Kip Moore, Justin Weaver, Caitlyn Smith, Erik Dylan, Aaron Benward and Brett James. Nate currently lives in Nashville, TN with his wife Farrah, and their dog, Reload.
