A&R - Prescription Songs Publishing

Rhea Pasricha works in the A&R department for producer/songwriter Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald and his publishing company, Prescription Songs.  Rhea got her start in the music business as a student at Clive Davis' Program of Record Music at New York University, where she studied various aspects of the music industry along with music production.  During her time at NYU, Rhea gained experience through internships at Columbia Records in the marketing department, at Avatar Recording Studios, and at a music production house, Yessian Music, where she was eventually hired as an assistant producer.  After a year, Rhea left Yessian Music to pursue her true passion, working in A&R, and began an internship at Atlantic Records in the Pop/Rock A&R department. Rhea managed to leverage her internship into a full-time position during her senior year as an A&R Assistant under Pete Ganbarg, the EVP of Atlantic and Head of the Pop/Rock A&R department.  During her time in the Pop/Rock department, she helped coordinate sessions and albums for artists such as Simple Plan, Christina Perri, Halestorm, and O.A.R.  After being promoted to A&R Coordinator, Rhea made the move to Los Angeles where she worked under the SVP of A&R, Aaron Bay-Schuck, in the Urban department.  There, she helped coordinate writing sessions and land song cuts with artists such as Rome (from Sublime with Rome) and Cody Simpson, among others. In September 2012, Rhea joined the team at Prescription Songs. As an A&R for the company, Rhea is hands-on with Prescription Songs' diverse roster of producers, writers, and artists, and actively scouts for new talent to sign.
